A friend of mine just bought an almost new Toyota pickup from a local dealership. He's telling me he got it with a lifetime warranty from Toyota! Personally, I think he could have gotten a much better deal but he didn't shop at all for it. Anyway, is this true though about the lifetime warranties? He's saying they are real common now and they practically given them with all vehicles purchased at the dealership because the bad economy. Wow! I paid close to $4,000 for an "extended" warranty on my caravan and got totally screwed. That about a few years ago.
IBH: Yeah, I bet it is. He's convinced that it's not but didn't show me the paperwork. Even IF there is such an animal I bet they make you keep up with some impossible rec'd service schedule which would defeat the warranty.
