I just downloaded limewire today and when i opened it up, a setup startup thing came up. I'm afraid to click any of them. It looks like this:

Files Association and startup
[ ] Associate. Magnet and torrent files with limewire
[ ] Launch limewire at system startup

Content Filters
[ ] DOnt let me download or upload files that is copyrighted...

Pls help me , i dont know what to do here

On the Files Association and Startup;
I am not sure what [ ] Associate. Magnet and torrent files with Limewire means, so just do not check that one. And the second one; [ ] Launch Limewire at system startup, that means if you want Limewire to come up when you start your computer. So you can check that one if you would like. For the Content Filters, [ ] Don't let me download or upload files that is copyrighted, check that one. And then if you need any more help, just send me an email. I use Limewire all the time. So my email is [email protected]
I hope I help you & good luck! <3

Well read what the question asks you -_-'

[ ] Associate. Magnet and torrent files with limewire:
All .magnet and .torrent files will be associated with LimeWire. eg. If you download a torrent file and open it, it will open using LimeWire as the default applicaiton for it.

[ ] Launch limewire at system startup
Means when you log-on after booting up your computer, LimeWire will automatically launch itself.

[ ] DOnt let me download or upload files that is copyrighted...
Means if you attempt to download copyrighted files eg. a movie, it won't let you.

these are just preferences for Limewire.
File Associations and startup
this is asking what you want Limewire to handle, do you want to download torrents and Magnet files and have them go to Limewire? if you do, check this box.
Do you want Limewire to start when you start your computer? If you do, check this box.
Do you want to make sure you don't share copyrighted material which may get you in trouble with the copyright holders and may have the FBI on your ass? Then check this box if you don't want that. However checking this box is going to limit your downloads as most everything these days is copyright protected.
Hope this helps.

hi darling

first of all, frostwire (www.frostwire.com) is more widely used because it has got less restrictions regarding copyright issues. I have been using frostwire for many years by now and rest assured, I have been downloading endlessly for the past ten years and I have never ever received any warnings for downloading.

Associate magnet and torrent files with limewire... leave it unchecked. Launch limewire (or frostwire if you decide to get frostwire) at system startup the bittorrent client provided at www.bittorrent.com is the best one when it comes to dealing with torrent files. Remember to not install Ask toolbar when you install bittorrent client from www.bittorrent.com

if you like downloading things such as songs movies all the time, then leave that option checked. But if you only download a few times a week, leave that option unchecked.

mmm I love answering questions of beautiful girls~~
