limewire uploads using up gb - how to limit?

We are downloading approx 50mb an hour on limewire, not using the computer for anything else, but our internet records show that approx 450 mb an hour is used in total. A further breakdown shows that 400mb of this is is uploads. In 5 day we've used up over 20gb. I understand the idea of limewire is to share, but this is ridiculous. how do i make the sharing more equal - only allowing the amount of uploading that im downloading?
 
tools>options>uploads>slots and set the slots to 0 and it will stop uploading altogether, if your feeling a little more generous then you can change the speed as well by going to tools>options>uploads>basic and setting the speed slider
