Linksys router problem, the internet is too slow?

OK so I got my Linksys router less than a week ago, and there are only two things on my network:

-PS3, using wireless
-Computer, using wired

The computer and router are in a bedroom and the PS3 is in the basement

Before, I used to get an 85%+ signal on the PS3. But even when my PS3 was turned off, the internet on the computer got really slow, continuously giving me page load errs (I am using Firefox)

Now today, I took out the plug from the router and put it back in again. Presto chango my internet is normal and no more page load errs.

But my problem is that now my PS3 only gets a 65% signal at best!

My router is a range plus wireless N router.

You may have a virus on your computer. Try running a virus scan WITH THE PS3 PLUGED IN!!! It may be trying to run the Inter net thourgh the PS3 and not your Internet as it reconizes that first.
