The other day my 3-year-old was excited to go shopping, so we were standing in the kitchen and he stretched his arms out as high as he could, tensed up with excitement, and shouted "I'm feeling so fly like a G-6, Mommy!"

lol WTF? Any similar cute stories with your kids?
 
I'm sitting at breakfast this morning with my four year old son who "doesn't like" girls, meaning he likes them just fine one on one, but when at school, the boys and girls already break off into their own groups and don't particularly co-mingle. Anyway, he was talking about a boy in his class and I couldn't figure out who he meant so I pulled out the class list. He made me go through every name and would give some commentary on each one. A few minutes after we were finished he busts out with, "Mommy, I want to be Alexa's friend!" So I asked him why not really sure what to expect as an answer. He replied with, "Because she has such stylish hair, Mommy!" HUH!?! Then a few seconds later, "She is sooooo beautiful, I love Alexa, I want her to be my friend!" I about fell out of my chair laughing. Especially when he started explaining how long her hair is ("To her toes, Mommy!" and how it falls "It's flat like mine but it goes this way!") Not sure where in the world he even picked up the word stylish but it was the cutest thing he's said today. Gosh, I wish I had a built in camcorder so I could catch all the cuteness to save for later.
 
HAHAHA that is so funny! My mom asked me what a G6 was...so I lied and told her a watch. So now she looks at her watch when that part of the song is on. any way.

I woke my 3 year old daughter up yesterday morning and this is what happen:
"honey wake up' ME
"O my god" daughter, while running to the window. opens the blinds and says "DADDY!!! The sun is up......cock-a-doodle-doo!!!!!!!!!"
 
My daughter is 19 months old and is the epitomy of vanity! Recently she tripped and skinned her nose. When I took her inside to clean her up she had already stopped crying but when she saw herself in the mirror she started crying all over again. I asked her if it hurt and she said "NO! UCKY!" I thought it was pretty funny. Then yesterday I had a biore strip on my nose and when I came out of the bathroom my daughter said "oh oh, Mama, owy" then made me bend down so she could kiss my nose better and she said "Pretty!" like she was trying to reassure me that I was still pretty!

Also the day before Thanksgiving we were playing like I was eating her fingers and she stopped suddenly and acting like she was taking something out of my mouth and got real serious and said "give back!" then she acted like she was putting her finger back on!

Your son sounds like a real cutie! Isn't it amazing what kids say? They are so intelligent!
