I read a poem by Auden back in college that beautifully captured the filthy sterility of major cities in his time, probably centered on London. I'd like to rediscover it, but I can't find it anymore, I have no idea what it was called, but the word that it most evoked for me was "grey". Does anybody know what poem of his fits the bill?
Oh, it wasn't very long, if I recall, maybe 20-30 lines.
