...climate with a smaller population? My wife and I are looking for a fun, romantic and unique spot to spend a week celebrating our first year of marriage. The location has to be in the US. Neither of us enjoy hot summers or large cities so the usual destinations like beaches in FL, CA along with big cities Vegas are out. We enjoy history, dining, and outdoor activities (hiking etc). Our budget is around $3000 total. Any suggestions would greatly appreciated!
