i worked at a department store for 3 years and was fired 2 months ago and ive been looking for a job and can't find anything and this is my last year of university and im really stressed out because if i dont find a job asap i wont be able to go to school next semester and what should i say when i go to interviews and the employer asks me why i left my job. does anyone have any advice for me

Why were you fired? I would tell you to just be honest. Do some research and see what others have mentioned on job applications and at interviews. Good luck.

I don't know two important details. Why were you really fired? What type of job are you looking for?

DO NOT make excuses or long explanations about being fired when talking to future interviewers. Instead, you should project optimism and confidence about "finding another job despite the economy". Two months unemployed is not a deal breaker.

Also, don't be picky about what kind of job you are looking for because it will be temporary. (to help pay for school)

Don't be stressed. Where there's a will, there's a way.(especially in America)

Good Luck
