Truck was sitting for roughly 3 years, then i bought it. First thing i did was change the oil. The weight i used is 10W-40. the gauge still says low oil pressure. Upon first start oil pressure shows around 40 psi but when truck is warmed up gauge shows around 6 to 8 psi. when i drive the truck 2 thousand rpm usually around 25 to 30 psi. With the truck doing this, does it point towards a bad oil pump, clog in the oil screen, bad clearances within the motor, or blown head gasket? I want to quick fix this, so if i add something like Motor Honey would it bring the pressure back to where it should be. what should i be doing starting with cheapest fixes to find out the issue.
Below is a link to a youtube video that shows the oil pressure when revved vs idle.
