I noticed a hard painless lymph node on the front of my shoulder right beside my arm-pit about 9 months ago and pointed it out to my Dr... all he said was "thats interesting" and told me to get a mamogram. (Considering my shoulder will not fit in a mamogram I don't see how this would do anything since I have no breast lumps) The first lump is about the size of a dried lima bean and does not move around under the skin, like it is firmly attached to the tissue under it.
Recently I have noticed more lumps around it, about the size of dried peas, once again totally painless.
They are very firm and do not move and a few of them seem to be matting together.
Should I just ignore them since my Dr is not concerned or should I try to find an Oncologist that will take me without a referral and have them investigated further?
