Mac n cheese recipe confused?

so i am making macaroni and cheese for a cooking class final and the recipe is confusing me. i am making 10 serving. btw here is the website:

when it says like 1-3/4...does that mean in cups??
like 1 cup and 3/4 cups..?
 
Valerie, of what, noodles? Wouldn't be enough for ten servings.
 
Yes, if it says 1 and 3/4 you use 1 cup then 3/4 cup..if it's for like milk, flour, that sort of thing.
 
it means one and three quarters cups, if they are talking about cups. I honestly don't see where it says that in the link you sent though.
