Machina Gadget tournament playstyle tips?

I just entered a local tournament i lost two times and i won another two!All i want is to give me some advices about how to use them.I know the main strategy.I need some advices like ... ''Keep monsters in your hand'' ''Dont get out fortress too soon'' ''Add this card it works wonders in this deck'' .Thanks!
 
The only real advise I can give is not going super aggro on your opponent, don't be afraid to summon a gadget and end your turn
 
run cyber dragon, defense style traps, offensive spell cards, pot of duality, and try to push for game when you have your opponent in a lock with smashing ground, chimeratech fortress dragon if you run it and limiter removal if you run it and run 2 machina fortress it becomes a dead card and add effect veiler for versatility. hope this helps im a machina player.
