maint required lite came on- did the maintenance bur lite wont go out-2010

toyota tacoma 4 cyl 2.7? tried the battery disconnect idea no success
 
It is telling you it is time for an oil change. hold down the button in the gauges that resets the trip a-b on the odometer while the key is off, turn the ignition to on while still holding the button, lines will then cross the digitial odometer after about 5-10 sec and your light is reset. You can also find this in your owners manual
 
There is only one other way that is get it put on the computer or a hand held unit. The proper code will hap to put in to trun it off.
 
Sometimes you have to hook up a scan tool and tell the computer to erase codes or it is like a woman it will never forget your faults forever. lol
