Makeup for me? Newbie, help?

Hi! I just had my birthday and I plan on spending my money on make up. I have darker brown eyes. Dark brown hair with this like, Carmel/auburn highlight to it. I also have a beige skin. So, I was wondering what I should be looking for ( color eye shadows, eyeliner, lip glosses, ETC.) I plan on doing this online so what are some good websites that carry nice cosmetics that aren't to expensive. I am new to the make up world, I'm more of a hair person. Thanks for all
Your help!

Well for starters, DON'T WEAR A LOT OF EYESHADOW :D
That just never looks good. Since I don't have a picture, I'm going to guess purple for eyeshadow? Try and go for more gold tones due to spring.
Like I said no picture....
Anyway, black eyeliner is always nice, just don't go so thick you'll look emo(no offense to emos, I am half emo-ish/goth :P), unless you are emo. You may want to wear eyeliner for a while before you put it on above your eyes. But mess around with the thickness until you figure out what looks good on you.
Mascara- Well, I don't wear it(I have naturally long eyelashes), but find one that doesn't clump. Or just go with fake eyelashes.
Lipgloss- Well, I personally don't think colored ones look good, so I'd just wear the tradition clear.
I hope I helped :)

When looking for eye shadows to make your eyes pop choose colors opposite to your eye color. So for brown eyes can wear just about any colors the best tend to be, golds, purples, teals. Since we are going into spring and summer golds would be good, it gives a beautiful glow in the more sunny brighter days. And go for more coral toned colors for lips. From MAC shadows: Amber Lights, Vanilla, Jest. I also one of the best eyeliners I have tried is also from mac is there technakohl eye liner it never leaks.
For a more cheaper brand you cold try NYX for their shadows. Sugar pill also has really great fun colors. Just have fun with it.

If you're still new, then dont go overboard with eyeshadows and mascara and liner and highlighter and contour bronzer. Start with the basics and work your way up. First off, buy a decent set of brushes. It is very crucial to have good brushes for quality application. You dont need to buy department stre brushes at all. I find that ecotools works just as well as my MAC brushes. It's around $11 at target i think. Buy a set with a blush brush, an eyeshadow brush and a spoolie. Now on make up. If you have minor skin imperfections, you can just go over that with a pressed powder. Maybelline dream matte foundation has had excellent reviews. Just be sure to include your neck area so you dont look wierd! For the blush, go find Milani Luminous. It's great for all skin tones and has long been considered a cheaper alternative to NARS blushes. Or the ELF studio line blushes! it's cheap, but you get a quality blush for the price. APply blush using the two finger technique. Cover the side of your nose with two fingers and apply blush starting from where your fingers dont cover all the way up to your temples. Be sure to blend, blend, blend so it looks natural! Lastly, apply two coats of lipgloss of your choice. If you're going out at night, then replace gloss with a lipstick two shades darker than your lipcolor and apply brown mascara to make your eyes pop. You want to try eyeshadows? Just try two colors at a time. The lighter shade goes towards your inner eye (the one near the nose bridge) and the darker shade goes on the outer lid. Dont forget to blend the two colors together so there is no obvious line! =D
