...blood yet his symptoms worsened. why? A man was infected with E. Coli and was treated with the correct antibiotic for his pathogen, the bacterium was no longer found in his blood, but his symptoms were worse-high fever and inflammation. what caused the man's repsonse to the treatment? what was his condition worsened by the treatmet?
