Many are leaving. What's the reason why you left your former religion?

My Jewish friend, Howard, gave me this link on why many are leaving the catholic faith. http://news.yahoo.com/vatican-investigating-child-abuse-cases-003353858.html

Penny, my waitress friend, gave me this why some--including a former priest-- left their catholic faith?

What's your reason?

I left the Presbyterian church years before they started to ordain homosexual ministers because I found their theology which worships the historical Christ who died over 2,000 years ago,to be irrelevant to my life.:damn fly:

I now belong to a church that worships Jesus In The Now,a living Savior who with faith enters our lives to answer our prayers and provide for our needs.

:close look:

In reference to the Catholic church,my sad tolerance due to the sin of individual priests has now changed into an angry denunciation because recently released documents show that corruption has spread through the highest levels :stop glass: of this morally sick denomination making them a justified object for strong condemnation and total rejection wisely in advance of the role their False Prophet will play in End Time Events.

We live in a post modern world, transitioning into a new kind of relevant spirituality. But to be honest, it didn't help that a pastor abused his power and trusted title when he sexually pursued my wife in a counseling session.
