Most of the introductions and familiarity with other members on MAP don't come from knowing what the person you're interacting with actually look like at first, if ever (post videos people!). I always make mental images I associate with the user name. If you're familiar with my username, how do you picture me looking?

Here's how I picture some people in my head when I read them. You can only upload 3 images at a time, so I'll only do three pics of my own imagination for now(full stop)

Pic # 1 - Hannibal (Tapout theme of course)

Pic # 2 - John R Gambit (Shaky from a webcomic that kind of has a zombie apocalypse twist)

Pic # 3 - Simon (Green MOD) (Iron Rings weapon thing in Kung Fu. I have no idea why)

Hmmm....I've been on here so many years that I've come to see the likenesses of a fair few of the more prolific posters and mods. I've never seen Frodo or Mitch, though.

Because of the height jokes (made by those with no concern for their personal safety) sometimes made about Frodo (coupled with her tough/feisty/sweet demeanor), I've always pictured her (and I might be treading on glass here--I don't mean to offend) as kind of like Kristen Chenoweth.

Mitch...Well, if you wish to see Mitch as I see him, imagine a mankini stamping on a human face--forever. Actually, I picture Mitch as kind of a younger Gabe Kaplan--with not so much of a 'fro.

Now that I think of it, I'm not sure why I have these particular images for them.

You, Ero, I see as a young, bigger (in a muscular way), Bill Burr:

Interesting thread and I would imagine many of the guesses are going to be wide of the mark.

I wouldn't have pictured myself as Ero has, even when I did Kung Fu.

I have met Mitch and I imagine many of you are going to be guessing what he looks like.
Just remember the ToS.
 
Bill Burr eh? Did a quick google search and saw he's a comedian. Will have to watch some of his skits!



Pic. # 1 - Dormindo - Guy in leopard pants! I think you may have had a cartoon cheetah avatar at one point, but I honestly think it was somebody else with that avatar (koryuu I think?). At some point I think I saw you posting along with the person who had the cheetah avatar and the image just stuck (along with the yellow mod name).

Pic. # 2 - belltoller - I get this from his posting style in the boxing forum. Always sounds real old school thinking, so I imagine an old boxing coach with this style of hat.

Pic. # 3 - Rand86 - Due to the MAP chat, this is my image of rand. Always a cheerful/playful fellah' who seems like he's ready to throw a ball at you and then run away, keeping an escape route ready.
 
I honestly have no idea why I see those rings whenever I glance across your username. Some of the things I see in my mind that I associate with a username are really abstract and hard to define, yours being one of them. It turned out to be an interesting exercise trying to find something online that really showed what I saw and that picture doesn't do it justice. What I really see are those rings coming at my mind's eye (as if you were punching me in the face with them on) but with no fist/arm, and like a repeating gif. of those rings hitting you in the face all in a line. I guess that's what all the spam sees/feels like when you ban them?

I'm interested to see what other people post! I'm hoping this thread catches on.

Pic. # 1 - Chadderz - Chadderz's current avatar has changed this one for me quite a bit, as now I see a baby faced cutie when I see him posting now. In the past though because "chadderz" is two letters away from "chedders" . . . this is what I used to think!

Pic. # 2 - Southpaw535 - One of the only MAP members I can think of whose actual avatar is what I see when I see their username.

Pic. # 3 - zaad - Words with Z make me think of weird geometrical shape type stuff. The pyramid head guy from Silent Hill is what I think of when I see his username.
 
I'm convinced JWT looks like Dwight Schultz, regardless of how many clips of him I see.
 
I think Zaad wasn't convinced by the end of the 2012 Map Meet that I wasn't an impostor.

If I don the right clothing and pose there is a passable likeness.
