I've taken 6 months in tae kwon do and honestly i didn't like it alot, the instructors were nice but it was a huge McDojo and it didn't have that respectful tradition more of a place where everyone was being rude and disruptive and it was more about the status symbol. Like there are adds everywhere in Sydney for it and they have 4 year olds blackbelts! And the guy who owns is a complete $TUCK UP @$$H0L3 I'll show you the website and you'll fall of your chair.

Well I love the idea of Martial Arts as they are a part of life and I just wanted some expert advice ( pugpaws2, Sensei Scandal, Shihan J any others with experience) because TKD was something I'd rather forget as I was forced to do it by my father and it sucked.
Instead I would like an art that's respectful and moral, is made up of striking and grappling, is very good for self defense, can take someone down who is much bigger than you ( I'm small but strong) and works great defending yourself against 1 on 1 and multiple opponents and defending against knives and guns and stuff (I'm 18 and go to parties all the time and theres always a couple of big idiots who wanna bash you to a pulp). And even though I don't like the idea of strong violence I still need to protect myself. I was thinking about JuJitsu, Aikido, Krav Maga. Do you guys know anything that will be good for me? Not a martial art is the best, but best suited for me? I tried the quizzes, but I learnt to not trust the small knowledge of a teenage MMA UFC fan everytime I read the results. So if you guys can share your knowledge that would be really appreciated.
Thanks,
Andrew ;)
