I have spent couple hours already trying to find a solution to fixing my CD-Rom drive, and all the possible solutions that I have searched for online have not been successful. I've deleted the Upper Filters (there were no lower filters) in my Registry, and I rebooted my system. Still, no success. After, I tried uninstalling my CD-ROM drive in the Device Manager, and once again, I rebooted my system. No change in drive. I was thinking about returning it back to where I purchased it, but they weren't much help with their customer service (probably won't be purchasing anything from them anymore) either. Is there any other way I could possibly fix my laptop?
Thank you.
My CD-ROM drive is not reading/writing discs. It shows up in the Device Manager, but it's not doing what it's supposed to be doing.
Thank you.
