The Houston Texans are 9-1 and are regarded as Super Bowl favorites by many NFL pundits. However, their latest victory wasn’t easy. Taking on 1-8 Jacksonville Jaguars, the Texans needed overtime and huge outings from their two best players to get the win.
Matt Schaub had 527 passing yards along with five touchdown passes. Andre Johnson had the best game of his career. The Texans wide receiver had 273 receiving yards on 14 catches including the game-winning touchdown.
“All the good teams find a way to win,” said Johnson, “no matter if it’s ugly, pretty or whatever.”
And the Texans are definitely a good team. Only the Atlanta Falcons can match Houston’s record of 9-1.
