I'm looking for a used car - I'd like something fairly small and fuel efficient, but my partner and I are both tall (I'm 5'10", he's 6'2") so we can't go too tiny. He really likes the Mazda 6, but we're also considering the Mazda 3. If you own one, can you tell me a bit about your experience?
Are there good and bad years to consider when looking at these models? (I'd been thinking about a Ford Focus, and all the reviews said to avoid the 2000 and 2001 models, but I haven't seen anything definitive along those lines about these Mazda models.)
Any other advice you can give? Is there another make/model you recommend instead? We were also thinking about the Toyota Matrix, Corolla, or Honda Civic.
