Me and my uncle got into an argument about cars. If two cars are going 100 mph

could one be going faster? Okay would a honda accord 2002 going 100 mph be just as fast as a bmw M3 going 100 mph?

Wouldnt they both be going 100 mph? thus, both be going the same speed?

Please explain! My uncle owns a car dealership and knows everything about cars but logically, well to me, it doesn't make sense!

A100 MPH is the same no mater what kind of vehicle is doing it. Your uncle is just having fun with you.
