I may have the opportunity to meet my favorite celebrity. I will be a volunteer at an event and I will be working the VIP lounge. It is very casual and not a big fancy event. Usually the celebs at these events are cool and laid back. Sometimes I meet celebrities I'm not even familiar with so it;s no big deal. This person is different. I've met many people whose work I respect or enjoy etc. They have always been good and kind.
This person leaves me speechless. I have found him as a role model and someone I adore for 25 years. I really respect this person as a human being and all of the social causes that he feverishly supports and has even started some of the groups that fight these battles. I have always looked up to him. He really changed my life when I started getting into some of these charities and I have been doing them for 20 some odd years now. I want to let him know how he changed my life for the good. I want him to know that his message was heard long ago. Is there a way to convey these feelings without feeling or sounding like an idiot? I know he hears the same stuff from admirers and fans all of the time. Any ideas on how I could convey this message and still sound a little diffrent and not like a recording of everyone else?
