Okay, I'm looking in the market for a new car, obviously it's going to be a second hand one. I live in the Philippines and these cars are rare and a bit pricey compared to other countries. I'm a having trouble on which to get; an original left hand drive all stock evo 8 or a converted subaru wrx sti but with a lot of really good mods on it already. Yeah, i know that I could mod the evo, but financially it would take me longer to build it up rather than the sti having a lot of things in it already. What makes it a hard decision for me is that, the sti is converted and I have never owned a converted car before. I'm thinking of the problems that it may cause me, the evo on the other hand is an original left hand drive, us version one, but is purely stock.
 
Go with the Evo. You're already feeling uncomfortable with the right hand drive. It will be more uncomfortable since its heavily modded.

For what its worth, the Evo is considered a "tuner's dream." It has bigger potential than the STi does.
 
Go with the Evo, much more smooth of a ride and even an all stock evo is very fast if you know you like that lol.
