I have a Mitsubishi Lancer 2007 model with a 1600cc engine. I swiped the engine for a GDI 4g93 Turbo engine. That was the first time for me to put a turbo engine in my car. It worked well and I raced BMW cars 2500cc, 2800cc, 3500cc, and I smoked them. Until I raced with BMW M3 and it smoked me. I started to look for another engine to make my car stronger. I went to Japan and I bought a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7 engine. I tuned it up in Japan to 600hp. Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 7 is 4WD and my car is designed as front wheel drive. I put the engine inside my car without problems, I opened the front gear box, I stopped the movement from going back to the rear gear box and it became Front wheel drive. The car is fast as hell, but I am having a lot of problems with the transmission. Also initial movement is slow. It takes a while to take off. Now I want to change the GDI 4G93 and open it from inside. As you know it is 1800cc piston. Can I open the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo engine and take the 2000cc piston and the crank shift out and put it inside the GDI 4G93? And take the head cylinder from Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 7 and put it into the GDI 4G93 and change the injector and the turbo? Or does anyone know another way I can change the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 7 transmission to front wheel drive?
