Alright, I'm a Honda guy so bare with me here. I saw what looked like a Lancer Evo 4 or Evo 5, but it was badged as a Mitsubishi Mirage. I have a few questions.

1. You know how in other countries the Mitsubishi Montero is called the Mitsubishi Nativa? Well my question is, I know it was until almost the 2000's that the "Lancer" was available in the US. All throughout the 90's however, Mitsubishi sold the Mirage in the US, was that basically a rebadged Lancer?

2. If the Mirage is basically a toned down version of the 90's JDM Lancer, they are basically the same chassis correct? And any mod available for the Lancer or Evo 4 and 5 will bolt onto a Mirage with the correct motor?

3. Isn't the Evo 4 and Evo 5 in Japan All Wheel Drive? I always thought the Mirage was Front wheel only. How would you get a JDM Lancer Evoloution motor swap and tranny to work with a FWD USDM car being that in Japan the same chassis with that motor and tranny is AWD?

4. Last but not least, except for interior bits and the obvious wheels and motor/tranny swap, what would you need to convert a Mirage to a 90's era Evo? So far I thought of the rear trunk (the rear tails/reflectors on the trunk of the JDM Evo that aren't on the USDM Mirage), the Evo 4 front Bumper, the Evo 4 front fenders (for the JDM Amber Side Markers), and the Evo 4 hood and lights maybe? anything else, or is there anything I listed thats already on the Mirage?

Thanks alot guys, this may seem like a stupid question to you but I never really mess with DSM's at all, Im a diehard Honda fan, but I fell in love with this Evo 4 I saw that started out as a Mirage and I'd like to learn more from you guys.

also I almost forgot for exterior mods you would need the Evo rear wing, and as far as the motor, what is the JDM Evo 4 Motor Code, and baseline power? Isn't it a Turbocharged motor as well?
