I recently read that it's good for cats to get a variety of moist/wet/canned foods along with dry kibble to provide better overall nutrition.
The idea behind the argument was that different types of foods have different vitamins/etc in different amounts and that feeding a combination of foods is more likely to get the cat everything it needs.
If you happen to know about cats, is this true?
What I really want to know is if feeding a mix of foods is good for dogs as well?
