.mkv movie playing in DivX with NO audio with Perian installed?

I torrented Fight Club and the file is in .mkv format, it plays in Divx fine just with NO AUDIO. And I have the newest Perian installed, yet I STILL have to audio.

What should I do to get sound? Thanks for any help, please be as specific as you can, I'm not very good with this stuff! Thank you!

Try setting the audio track. The whole point of MKV is that its a container for multiple subs and audio tracks, as it was originally designed for anime, but from looking at the Perian changelog there is a bug in one of the versions that it does not select the preferred language automatically.

So check to see if there is a selector for an audio stream. Sorry cannot help you more, not an apple user.

BTW Perian is at 1.2.1 so check to make sure thats the version you have.

Also you might wanna put OSX in your questions so you won't ubuntu and windows users trying to answer your questions, :P
