i am interested in buying a netbook so that i can take it with me as i travel around the uk, leaving my bulkier laptop at home. i only want to use it for email and brief internet browsing.
some of the places i will be visting might not have wifi so i was hoping to buy a netbook and use a dongle to connect to the internet via the mobile phone network.
the linux netbooks are cheaper that the ones with windows xp, but someone told me that i have to get one with windows on it in order to use the mobile phone networks to connect to the internet. is this the case? thank you!
