Monster Rancher Advance(GBA) help needed.?

I know this game goes WAY back but i was just looking for some help on how to raise a good monster that is able to compete in the S ranking.
 
read everything!!!!!!!!!!!! there are moments when a lady comes and told you about the prizes of the classes went down,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,that how i won because with those special classes you can earn special powers.............. rite know, i unlocked the dragon type......... it is very fun but you get bored after you win.............
