Your whole premise is so flawed it almost not worth posting over.
Until you can post some valid arguements as to why you feel that the moon landing was a fraud I suggest you just hush becuase you're beginning to sound rather silly.
 
You just gave me a free pass. Because of that there post, the next time I say something absurd, you cannot mock me. It's one for one.
 
I dont believe we had the techknowlodgy back in 1969 to go to the moon and back safely and that easily.
We were in a race against Russia to get to the moon first. That was our main reason for faking it.
Have you seen the footage? Totally fake looking.
So how can you say that couldnt have been filmed in the desert? You cant tell from the footage, so how do you know for sure?
And how is it that we have telescopes that can reach farther distants than the moon, but while looking at the moons surface with those telescopes you can't see the USA flag?

Why not? We had cars, airplanes, missiles, subs, carriers, computers, assembly line factories, TV dinners, global communication. What'd we lack?



Why hasn't Russia called us on our bluff? Are their spies not good enough to catch the lie, but, somehow, you're good enough?



I've also looked out the window at the wing of an airplane while flying in it. The scenery is totally fake looking.



No, the question is, why doubt the people in the business who say that we were there?



Hang a flag in your front yard. Then run down the road 517 miles with your telescope. Then aim your telescope back at your house, and find your flag.

Can you find your flag? No? I didn't think so. How far away is the moon again?
 
It helps if you want to talk about technology if you can spell it correctly.

What do you know about technology anyhow? Not very much from the sounds of it. I seriously think you haven't got a clue what technology was available in the mid to late '60s.

It also sounds as if you don't know much about the trials and tribulations of all involved... not only the astronauts... but the hundreds of technicians and lab people. Not to mention companies under government contract that provided the science and the know how.


You can't exaclty support your weak arguement by stating it was because we were in a race with Russia. First it's obvious that the competition between Russia was a factor. Duh. Second... you haven't provided anything even remotely conclusive that it was faked. Try again.



I've seen the footage many times. Fake looking compared to what? What is your background in film to be able to ascertain authenticity or fakeness?

It's not on me to prove it's authentic... it's on you to prove it's fake. It's commonly accpeted as authentic. There is always going to be the nutbar fringe that gets wrapped up in conspiracy theories. If it was faked... then how come nation like Russia tracked the launch into orbit? What happened to the men that were in the rocket that went? And how did all the thousands of people involved in your supposed fraud manage to keep their mouths shut for so many years.

Your story doesn't add up at all.


Again what do you know about film. Given that you've cited two absurd cites neither of which could figure out that camera crosshairs aren't on the film plane and therefore don't burn into the final exposed image... how much credibility do you think you really have.

Let me give you a hint.... zero.

The moon itself is ideal for lots of things and we could have discovered technologies that we wouldnt expect to find.

Even if NASA did want to do deep space exploration, the moon would be a good staging place.

Its low gravity could by use for research...im sure i read somewhere that manufacture in zero gravity can result in incredibly strong alloys.

Also, manufacturing in low gravity would be much easier...people could carry very heavy things around very easily.

Just seems like a very easy opportunity compaired with all the other things that NASA have been up to.
 
For the peeps that talk about running a moonbase for manufacturing or whatever.. think about this, how much energy does it cost to run your air conditioner during summer.... yeh, a lot. Now times that buy about 2000* per cubic metre and thats what it would cost to have a base out of the atmosphere. Not to mention the cost of shipping materials between earth and the moon.

And the moon would be a **** starting place for deep space exploration because instead of just having to escape the earth's forces we would be doing that, then landing on the moon, the transfering the resources, then escaping the moons forces... FAIL.

I always thought the same thing, then I read this, at which point my inferior brain couldn't handle the math-e-matics, and so my head exploded.

But I'm sure it's a good explanation if you can understand it. I can sort of understand the second explanation. Sort of. A little. In a way. Kinda.

Im not saying we should start building cities up there...thats just exagerating my arguement to try and make it sound less believable.

Yet...nothing...not even a little shed...NASA decides to go to Mars and talk about future Mars based facilities when theres a candidate one our doorstep.
 
Its because they have convinced most people that we were the first to the moon. Now they will move on and try to convince people that they were the first to get to Mars.

I just think its funny how the USA government takes your money for all this space research crap, when nothing really good has been done.
I'm just saying I dont believe we went to the moon in 1969. Thats all I have to say, until I can be convienced other wise.
I wouldnt doubt the USA government for lying about the moon, while they have tried to cover up so many other things.
