my mare learned she could? pull the reins right out of my hands (she was in a short shanked mechanical hackamore before that) so I put her in a full cheek french link snaffle. Sometimes she doesn't always listen that well to it. The lady I bought her from said they were riding her in a curb. If she is not always listening to the snaffle does that mean she needs to stay in it until she learns to listen to it and then to a curb? The curb won't make her mind better? I was looking at curb bits on e-bay and saw one low port curb short shank horse bit then it said Metalb/Partrade what does that mean? It also said it was for an intermediate horse. I wonder if at this point my horse would be considered intermediate or is she back to beginner? I also saw a low port curb grazing bit. What does this mean? Thanks for all your help.
