More old men n d province still walking while n d cities looked sickly & dying, why?

Inting Kublan of Cebu Province who lived in the woodland knew and prepared for his death at 120. This summer vacation I saw personally more old men in the province still walking while in the metropolitan cities they looked sickly and dying. It's surprising!

pollution, stress, keeping up with the fast pace of living in the metro is deteriorating... body and mind.

The old man in province got no car and no choice. If he had a car, he would also be riding in it. Those who look sickly and dying in the city probably been hit by the car many times. Need to be fast on your feet when crossing. All that lechon baboy and ginamus aint helping them stay young either.

In the in rural areas, there's no fast foods, no rush hour, less pollution, less stress. Overall a rural guy has less problems to deal with compared to the man in the city. What you you saw, the old men that that looked sickly and dying, probably lived in crowded crank housing, held an 8-5 job, and was constantly running/ waiting for bus/jeep that would take him back home after work and inhaling all the smoke from the motor vehicles. I could go on and on..Its style of living. Nothing surprising at all.

They don't ride cars, they walk. It's a very good exercise for the muscles and the heart. Then, there is little pollution in the countryside - they breathe fresh air all the time hence clean lungs. They eat fresh vegetables - more vegetables than meat. Also, country folks are more of fish-eaters than red-meat eaters. Then, there's the attitude: a happy-go-lucky kind of thing where problems are sometimes non-existent in their lives even if they live very poorly. Likewise, the camaraderie or rapport between these townspeople where fights or quarrels seldom occur.

those 'old men' in the cities are not old, theyre fresh college graduates just starting on their first jobs

easy, because people in province are much stronger than people in cities. it maybe related to stress, polution, etc. because life in cities are much easier than provinces, you need to do things manually, but then province people are often known as farmers, pet raisers (pigs, goats, chickens, etc.) while in cities, you'll just go to the malls and markets, and there goes what you need..

Pressure, pollution - noise, air, non-healthy foods, lack of exercise.In the provinces you get a good night sleep, breathe clean air, eat fresh and often pesticide-free produce and live life simply. Mornings are spent inspecting their properties and afternoons are spent visiting friends by a short walk.

it's because in the province the air is fresher, water is cleaner, foods are fresher, and people have a lot of exercise. they don't have to go to the gym, what they do everyday is also their exercise.and most of all, life is simpler in the province... simpler but happier!

Old men from the provinces are hard-working, as in they get daily exercise from farming, shepherding, and others. And they have fresh air. While those on who live in the city streets, all they do is slack or wait for alms. Plus they are all exposed to dozen of pollutants.
