Moto Razr not keeping power charge.?

i charged it overnight and by the end of the day (9:30) it only has on bar of battery power left.Is this because its old? or is it the battery? i don't want to buy a new battery if i can just get a new phone.
i only used it twice and the calls were about a minute each
 
i have the same problem, it just means you are using it. battery life depends on temp, what you do on your phone, phone settings, signal strength and battery eventually after a while loose some battery life but not much and they usually stop at bout 92%. there is nothing wrong with your bettery its perfectly normal.
