My father in law recently helped me purchase a new motorcycle from a dealership. The loan was in his name so the bike is pretty much under his name for the time being. Were trying to figure out how to register the bike under my name. The dealer ship told us we couldnt do it unless my name was also on the loan. We were thinking that with a power of attorney saying that he allows me to register the bike under my name and get insurance, all that good stuff, it might work.
