Motorola Atrix 4G vs Iphone 3GS?

Trying to decide between the Atrix and the Iphone. W/ my upgrade I can get a refurbished atrix for $49.99 or an refurbished Iphone for $9.00. I'll be using the phone to message, make/take calls and web browse. Which one should I buy, and why?
 
dont get a refurbished Atrix, but the atrix is better than the 3gs. it is on par with the iphone 4
