Motorola Backflip; Ridiculous Lag?

Basically what the title says. This phone takes about 5 minutes to load my contacts, or my texts. When someone calls me I can't see the contact till I get a missed call because It doesn't load in time. My "answer" button frequently freezes. It's ridiculous, I've tried so hard to be patient with it, but I'm about ready to set it on fire.

ANYWAY.
I have Task killer running, but it doesn't help.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE give me some sort of solution ? :/

Go to your contacts and click "History" on the bottom and clear your contact history. Your phone will run like new.
