Motorola Cliq XT won't boot into recovery mode.?

I have a rooted motorola cliq xt and it won't boot into recovery mode, so i cant run any custom roms on it. Whenever i try to there is always a picture of a phone and a triangle with an exclamation mark. What should i do?
