Motorola Devour shut down when I downloaded Skype!?

I was just on my Motorola Devour and when I went to download Skype my computer shut down. I turned it back on and it just shows the start up screen... it won't move past that to the home screen! I don't want to do a whole wipe out of my phone, so is there any way that I can fix this??
