I want to setup my KRZR to allow me to change from a normal/louder ring to a very short beep? I want to be able to quickly switch beteen these modes. My previous Motorola allowed me to customize the rings for a low, medium and high setting, so I could very quickly switch my mode and have a totally different ring. For example, when I go into a meeting or go into to work I want to switch it to just do a short beep. When I leave work and I'm in the car I want to switch it to a loud standard ring. And I want to make this switch quick and easy.
I see the phone has an "Alert" mode, but that appears to be alerts for "events" only, not an incoming call. In that mode the phone won't ring for a call but it would beep to remind you of calendars or txt messages.
