how can i unlock it......mine is a prepaid from verizon i can change it anytime if i buy a sim card but everyone tells me i should unlock it i really dont know what that means but it sounds good so please help me
 
Call your carrier (verizon) and tell them you want it unlocked. It is the only 100% free and reliable way. If they ask you why tell them whatever you want. Its all legal but to save your ears and your time just tell them your friend wants to try the phone before they buy it and switch to Verizon or somthing like that.

They will give you the code to unlock it and tell you how step by step if you need it.
