Motorola Rokr?

I have the Rokr. My problem is that when I give someone a custom ring tone and I get a text message from them, the custom ring tone plays. I want the standard text message beep to go off when i get a text message from that person but I still want their custom ringer to work when they call me.

Any ideas?
 
I own one too, and I think all the new, high-end Motorola phones do that. I've tried, but I can't get it to not do the custom ring either.
