Moving across country and need a rental SUV or like? (10 Pts.)?

We have a bunch of stuff and would rather forgo using a Budget Rental truck or something of that nature. Any suggestions on where to get the best price ect... Any honest advice welcome. Thanks!

If you do use Budget here is a link form UC Radio podcast (http://bitemefcc.com/) that might save you some money. Budgets and other have normal van and other cars.
Talk to your auto insurance agent and see if the rental is covered without paying more. If you have full coverage it might be covered.

Well, budget does rent vehicles as well. www.budget.com. They are pretty reasonable. Alamo is too. Enterprise not so much. If you rent it for a week you get a better deal. Just call and see what kind of deal they can cut you. Explain your situation and you want to save money and your checking around for the best deal.

Are you thinking of just renting one way? Be sure to ask if you have to return the vehicle. Where I live, you have to return the vehicle to the place where you rented it. The only thing we could rent going one way was a U-Haul truck.
