Mozilla Firefox not loading pages that Internet Explorer is?

I'm not getting ANYTHING... In firefox, any website just shows it as loading half-way and has NOTHING loaded. Not even a "firefox cannot find this site" or something like that.

Please help...

"Working Offline" is NOT checked...
No new firewalls or pop up blockers or anything...

You supposed to have another browser when Internet Explorer has a problem.

did you download the newest version of firefox?

reinstall to see if that helps
