hey I wrote a song sang it and the studio I recorded it charged me $600 bucks they played guitar drums bass and trumpets and cello on my song. but i composed the tone an arranged how the music goes. no contract was signed just a hand shake now that the song is done the guy wants a cut of the selling earnings is that normal? I mean he never specified hey it will be $600 plus royalties.. so really I dont know what to do. I thought saying okay give me back the $600 and we can go 75% for me and you get 25% is that fair? Its my first try at this please help
