...to ride a bike again.? As a result, he never learned to ride a a bike. I have been wanting him to get back on a bike again and encouraging him to ride bikes with the other boys he knows. These boys are a very nice sort who would love my kid to join them! My kid would rather I but a x-box 360 hard drive and stay home doing nothing but play video games. I am frustrated and i also feel i am at fault for not getting my son back on a bike right away after the fall he took. I feel a boy should have fun doing outdoor things as well as indoor stuff. How can i teach my son to ride a bike without embarrassing him at this age? Thanks for any and all advice.

That happened to my son when he was about that age, he flipped over the handle bars and that whole summer refused to go near it. Eventually with some talking and lots of begging lol he got back on and learned to ride without training wheels in 2 days. You just need to encourage him lots.

You could teach him to ride in a flat space in the backyard or take him to a bike path. You could also see if he prefers scootering, rollar blading, or scateboarding.
