and I don't know why!? My husband usually goes in the room and picks her up and holds her until she falls asleep. She cries alot. She won't let him sit down or anything and starts to cry if he does. needless to say, she wont let him put her back in the crib without screaming. she doesnt want to play, she is clearly upset but we don't know why!!! She has been sleeping through the night since 7 weeks old and these middle of the night outbursts just started about 1 1/2 months ago. She has a new baby brother so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Does anyone know what to do or why she is doing this?????

A new baby brother at only 14 months? Wow.... and you are wondering what is wrong, precisely?

Once she was the queen of the castle, now the enemy is not only at the gates, the little bastard is in the house. [Excuse my French]

Even babies have nightmares. Keep on holding and rocking her to sleep. Try the same when she is awake. And do not leave her alone with that new baby! Vengeance is mine says the eldest.
