I hit a curb with the back right tire but we got it fixed and all but now in the rain its starting to go out of control at speeds of 40 mph. We replaced the shocks the bar and some other stuff but it still feels weird. My mechanic says it might be the axle but will that help out the traction control?

A couple things come to mind. One is to have a 4-wheel alignment done. Of course all the suspension parts would have to be basically intact, but it sounds like that's already been checked. If your rear axle or other parts are bent, a 4-wheel alignment will find that.

The other thing is that your vehicle might have a Traction Control system, which coordinates with the Anti-Lock brakes. If so equipped, the accident may have damaged the wheel sensor on that corner. You don't have any dash warning lights showing a problem do you?

I'm assuming that the wheel was probably balanced somewhere along the line during repairs, and they're sure the wheel isn't bent.
