my 1999 1.4 citroen xsara air bag light has started to come on?

Hi i was wondering if anyone can give me some advice the Airbag light was fine until a young girl rode out in front of my wife on a roundabout, my wife braked sharp and since then the light comes on every now and again, first it flashes for a few minutes then stays on, but it does not do this every time i drive the car just when it feels like it.

Hiya.Take the car to a citroen dealer or an auto electrician who has access to electronic diagnosis machine.He will then reset the fault code which is no doubt in the system memory from the near miss your wife had.This will most likely be your problem but if not the garage diagnosis will tell them what to do to stop the problem..
