...50mph. Does anyone know what it is? I've taken it to the shop and the mechanic "thinks" its the roters. I have a problem spending $400 on a thought. The noise sounds like a whining or screeching and doesn't occur when on the highway. It usually occurs shortly after the car has started. Please help!
 
roters? do u mean rotors as in brake rotors? where is the noise coming from? if its comin from the front of the engine it could b ur water pump, power steering pump, or just ur belt... check ur belt 4 signs of age like cracking and it could b water dripping on ur belt possibly from a bad water pump, check 4 leaking water or power steering fluid u can contact me if u have any other questions
